Measuring & Installing |

1. Measure width of opening and add 2.5" to 3" per side to allow panel to overlap window moulding. |

2. Measure opening height and add 2.5" to 3" on top if window has a sill and 2.5" to 3" inches top and bottom if window is cased on 4 sides. |

3. Using a skilsaw or table saw cut polycarb panel to adjusted size calculated in
steps 1 & 2. Or select proper panel for respective opening precut at Withers factory.

5. Using a 1/8" drill bit bore a pilot hole in each fastener position previously marked in step 4. |

6. Place the insertion tool in your drill and gently drive the fastener into
the pilot hole until it is buried up to the collar at the end of the first set
of threads.

8. Remove protective wrap from both sides of polycarb panel. Mark the side printed with production information U.V. as this is the side with the protective ultra violet coating and should be always positioned facing out. |

9. Place the panel against the window in its intended position and gently tap on the panel over the fastener sites to leave a slight indentation in panel. |

10. Using a 30881-VB1 bit drill the panel where the indentations were made in step 9. |

|
11. After completing step 10 hang the panel on the fasteners. |

|
12. Tighten wing nuts on each fastener until panel is snug against mounting surface. |

13. Label face of panel indicating window location on house before removing panel.

|
15. Store panels and wing nuts in a dry storage area until needed. |
